4 – New dinnerware
November 19, 2009 • Hello. I am currently out of the country and unable to respond to comments and e-mails. Rest assured, however, that future posts have been scheduled so new recipes will go live almost everyday during my absence. I'll be back soon with lots of stories and photos. Ciao for now! ~ ConnieMy husband and I will celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary on December 12th. With the money that’s been pouring out with the construction of our new kitchen, I wasn’t really expecting a fancy anniversary gift.
I was more than mildly surprised–and very, very pleased–when he came home from work today with a new set of dinnerware. He said he was choosing between a Christmassy design (which he really liked but figured we’d only get to use for only a few weeks each year) and this one.

He read the specifications and, after discovering that this one was microwave-safe AND oven-safe, well, the decision wasn’t too tough to make. I love the design. And I especially love the fact that they can go straight from the oven to the dining table.
