A food photo a day…
November 19, 2009 • Hello. I am currently out of the country and unable to respond to comments and e-mails. Rest assured, however, that future posts have been scheduled so new recipes will go live almost everyday during my absence. I'll be back soon with lots of stories and photos. Ciao for now! ~ Connie… will build a huge photo blog someday.
Seriously, seriously… I was going through the food photos in my external hard drive to check if there are any that I had forgotten to post. Turned out there were too many that I never posted. That’s in addition to the ones posted between August 19th and December 15th last year–the ones that were wiped out when I had database problems. In short, there were so many food photos. And I am accummulating more because of the cookbook that I am writing. Most times, I take about a dozen photos of a single dish from different angles so that I’d have plenty to choose from. And I photograph just about any food that I see. You know, just for practice. Yeah, I do believe that practice makes perfect. So, question is what will I do with the photos as they keep piling up?
The logical answer is to post them online. Not as recipes but as, well… as photos. In a new photo blog with nothing but food photos. I’ve posted 18 so far.

I agree, good food photos ARE entertainment and you certainly take some wonderful pics. Connie!

Thanks, Suzette and Geraldine.
Suzette, the blurred background… it’s the effect of manipulating the aperture opening of the camera.
HI Connie, that’s my problem also. Well, mai-post na nga lang. You’re right!
Hi Lani. Why let them go to waste, di ba?
i’m interested about you food pictures, send me about palabok, pancit, goto, lugaw, drinks, etc. i love collecting food pictures. and i used it as postcards. if want… let’s talk about it. email me at sirwilfredthegreat@yahoo.com. thanks
Will, I don’t give away the photos.
Hey Connie, funny that you mentioned this. I also take pics of almost everything I cook and bake — in other words I also have MY own pics of YOUR concoctions. Yun nga lang, it looks more amateur than yours hahaha.
Oh btw, it’s great that you have pics, that way I know how the dish is supposed to look like — is that weird? Kudos on your upcoming cookbook!
Denise, why not create a blog of your food pics? It’s like having a photo album of what you eat everyday!
Hi, I’m trying to find a recipe for Taho. Do you have one, or know where I can find one? Many thanks!
