Ingredients :

1-1/2 cups of softened (not melted) butter
3 tbsps. of finely minced garlic
2 tsps. of dried basil
1-1/2 tsps. of herbed salt

Cooking procedure :

The butter has to be soft enough for easy stirring.

Place the butter in a sealable container. A wide-mouthed jar or plastic container would be good.

Add all the ingredients to the butter and stir until smooth and well-blended. Spread on slices of bread. Toast the bread in a pre-heated 160oC oven for about 3 minutes. Serve with steaming hot coffee and fresh fruits.

Hi Ms. Connie! I’ve been doing garlic butter for a long time na and I almost always have stock in the fridge for the times na nagccrave ako for toast… It takes me forever to mince my garlic so what I do is grate it using a fine grater. (Just a tip for the tamad like me :D )… I’m soooo happy to see that you’ve used dried herbs… I’ve been looking for ways how I can use my dried herbs… Is it ok to use other dried herbs? What do you suggest po na masarap i-substitute? My dady recently sent me garlic salt, so is it right for me to assume that it’s very much ok to use for this recipe?
