They might be priced higher but the wastage with large bags of oatmeal is tremendous. Cook 2 cups of oatmeal with so many cups of water and what do you do with leftovers? With per person packs, you cook what you eat (if pouring hot water qualifies as cooking) and nothing is wasted. Plus, you get to choose the flavor. Flavored oatmeal is also great for making pancakes (see entry on blueberry oatmeal pancakes). [...]</description>
