Pancake House

Alex Veneracion at The Pancake House, Glorietta, Makati City

For reasons only she knew, my 13-year-old daughter Sam had been whining about eating at Pancake House for the past month. Other than her, no one was eager to go. I think that, perhaps, a classmate recommended the place and she was really dying to try the food there. But for her dad and I who had been to Pancake House countless of times before when we were still college students, it wasn’t something to get excited about.

Anyway, since we take turns choosing where to eat when we go out, Sam’s turn came and we went to Pancake House at the Glorietta in Makati.

Sam and Alex wanted their dad and I to sample what they ordered. I shared my half of a clubhouse sandwich with their dad and he shared his potato salad with me. In short, each of us sampled what the others ordered. I don’t think Sam will ask to go to Pancake House again when her next turn to choose the restaurant comes up. If she does, I’ll order nothing but pancakes. Pancake House does serve good pancakes.

View the photos and read my review of the food.
