Pasta Putanesca » Top with grated cheese

The final step of course is to garnish the pasta putanesca with grated cheese. Parmesan is traditional but my daughters prefer mild or sharp cheddar.

I’ve always wanted to cook this pasta dish and actually this is perfect timing as we are in the Lenten season. I will be cooking this pasta putanesca at least once during the 40 days. Thanks for making the recipe look easy and delicious!
Who doesn’t like easy recipes, right? Personally, I don’t like slaving away in the kitchen.
this will be my main dish for Wednesday – American Idol finals….=)
