Stir – fried Beef and Straw Mushrooms
November 19, 2009 • Hello. I am currently out of the country and unable to respond to comments and e-mails. Rest assured, however, that future posts have been scheduled so new recipes will go live almost everyday during my absence. I'll be back soon with lots of stories and photos. Ciao for now! ~ ConnieSorry about the lag. I’ve had a bad, bad cold for the past two days and I’ve been sleeping a lot. In fact, I slept practically the whole day yesterday. I’ve been ignoring my coffee and switched to salabat (ginger brew) instead. Good for itchy throat and clogged nose. When I was younger I thought it was just old wives’ tale. But, really, it does wonders.

Tons of e-mails after not being able to stay long online for the past two days. Thanks. And I don’t intend to stop posting here. If I do, that means I’m feeding my family with canned goods and hotdogs.
This beef and mushrooms recipe was Tuesday night’s dinner. Late posting, huh? Better late than never, I guess.
You might want to adjust the seasonings. My taste buds weren’t working properly when I cooked this. There were no complaints from my family though.
