Tastebook coming out in October

Filed under Miscellaneous; Non-recipes;

The lull in posting is justified, believe me. First, there are still lingering technical problems screwing up the categories and category pages. Second, my TasteBook is coming out in October. TasteBook? I wanted a cookbook, right? Then, my external hard drive died on me, I lost most of the files and I had to start from scratch. Meanwhile, TasteBook came along.

Pinoy Cook Tastebook

So, there is going to be a Pinoy Cook TasteBook that will be available to Pinoy Cook readers all over the world because it can be ordered online. That should take care of the questions about whether my cookbook will be available to readers outside the Philippines. Please don’t ask at this point how much it will cost — it will depend on the final number of pages.

Bear with me if posting here slows down a bit. But I want this project on print to take off finally. I’m almost there. It’s almost done. And it will be available to you definitely before Christmas. Target launch date is October 20, my birthday, so I’m working overtime to meet my self-imposed deadline. On launch day, there will be a little fanfare. Some freebies but I won’t talk about the details now. Just watch out for the announcement.

    Ooooh, I can’t wait til yours come out. There are quite a few of your recipes that I want to add to mine. I got my Tastebook yesterday with 78 pages and it’s BEAUTIFUL! Those Tastebook people really do a good job. Too bad the max number of pages is only 100. I may just have to order your entire book instead.

    By the way, they have a 20%-off sale but it ends today.
