The noche buena blog is live!
Please read the update in the Cooking for Christmas and the New Year entry.
The noche buena blog section is LIVE. Well, kinda. I started posting entries today and since everything is a “future post”, the entries will auto post every two hours for the next 24 hours. There is a big BUT though. The four dishes that I cooked for Jessica Soho’s show will be posted on December 16, a day after the show is aired on Saturday, the 15th. I really don’t know why I agreed to that but then that kinda puts a suspense on everything and that has to be a good thing. At any rate, those are only four recipes. Everything else will be viewable in 24 hours.
Will posting in the noche buena blog be over after the 16th? There will be a few days’ lull (I could use the break) and then another set of recipes will be posted in time for the New Year. I was thinking… perhaps, chicken relleno (cross my fingers), lumpiang ubod with home made wrappers (no problem), rumballs (I soooo miss them) and some other very chocolatey dessert…

Hi! This may sound stupid but where is this site? What web address do I type? Our family enjoyed your recipes by the way.
Got it already. I put the cursor on the phrase noche buena blog then clicked and presto…the site!

Kongkong, my sentiment exactly — maiba naman.
Joy, kahit simple lang, basta you’re together, di ba?
Good for you, Johnson!
Gigi, stay tuned, am adding more recipes in the noche buena blog.
I watched the Jessica Soho last 15th Saturday and I was fascinated by all the dishes she had shown on her show. Is it possible to ask for the recipes that came from Bulacan and Ilocos? I especially like the nilagang pasko…More power to your column. Thanks a lot.
Ren, why ask me for the recipes? It’s not my show.
got this added in in my fav! merry christmas to all!
Hi Ms. Connie! I just happened to past by your site when I was looking for a macaroni salad and I soon as I found out I’m so in love with it already. The first recipe I tried is your ‘mango royale’. I made some for my office mates and family and they are all asking for more. Thanks! Happy Holidays!
